We officially are able to share with you all, our first wedding of 2016! So excited. This couple came to us last year, and I knew immediately I loved their vision. Amelia is an artist. An illustrator to be exact. She has such a great eye for style and she personally designed many of the details of her big day, including, the invites, programs, menus, and the favor tote bags! Those were my all time fav. She wanted to create a tropical and fresh feel with personal touches all around. Needless to say, it was magic to our ears. The bride and groom wanted a brunch wedding, so the menu consisted of mimosas, butter biscuits, breakfast tacos, roasted chicken, roasted carrots, coffee, and the most delicious cinnamon pastries ever. The perfect compliment to a Sunday brunch! As a nod to Julian's family, they opted for a modern take on the traditional Mexican lasso ceremony into their vows with garlands custom made by Tiger to Lilies. The lasso turned out so beautifully, Amelia wore it the rest of the day - it was beautiful and so meaningful.
