Tasteful Tatters is a Los Angeles based full service event design + coordination company offering everything from planning your entire event down to the very last detail, to packages that include us just finishing off those gorgeous details on the day of – or just helping you on a project to project basis. We love everything about events, but most of all – our goal is to make your event a reflection of YOU. We specialize in weddings, as well as some smaller events such as intimate dinner parties.


Hello! I’m Emilee, the girl behind Tasteful Tatters.

I’ve worked in the event industry professionally for over 7 years doing weddings and special events as well as events for non-profit. I’ve developed my craft over the years to make event planning for the client as smooth and easy as possible. It’s my goal to lighten the load, while at the same time, creating an event that is just “so you!” I believe the best compliment a bride can get after her wedding is that her event was just so – her and her man – a direct reflection of their love for each other and their personalities!

I love to travel with my husband and our closest friends.  Cuddling with my pup and a glass of wine is my version of the perfect evening.  I hate to cook and avoid it at all costs. If I had an unexpected free day, I would eat brunch with my ladies and get lost in a book. Meeting new people is the BEST so let’s grab some coffee and talk about your wedding!

Cara: Associate Coordinator/Project Manager

A recent transplant from Pennsylvania, Cara Lena is a lover of all things girly! Newly obsessed with nail art and baking pink mini donuts. Her love for design and coordination came from helping friends get married in PA and has only grown since then. She can also be found running, making music, or shopping, all ideally with friends!

Emily: Associate Coordinator/Blog Manager

Born in Michigan, raised in Southern California, Emily graduated from F.I.D.M with a degree in Visual Communications. She has her family to thank for introducing her into the arts and has loved to style, design and explore since a young age. Emily is a bit of a hopeless romantic who thrives on helping people make their special day perfect and full of joy. She loves to think outside the box and finds inspiration in nature and unexpected places. In her free time Emily likes to bake, curl up with a good book and spend time with friends and family.

April: Assistant Coordinator

Born in a small town near Ventura, April has grown up with a passion for adventure and a love for the ocean. She studied Fashion Merchandising at CSUN with an emphasis in marketing, which furthered her creative skills and showed her how small details can have big impacts. In her free time she can be found at her sewing machine crafting handmade ties or relaxing in the sand with salty hair.

Jenny: Associate Coordinator/OC Lead

Born and raised in Southern California, and currently living in Huntington Beach, Jenny graduated from Cal State Fullerton with her BA in Communications and a minor in English. Having worked for several nonprofits, organizing benefits and fundraisers, Jenny’s love for event planning grew and she decided to pursue the wedding industry. Jenny has years of hospitality work experience and an optimistic attitude that make her a great part of the team. In her spare time, Jenny can be found curled up with a good book or cooking in the kitchen with her boyfriend.


Karla: Assistant Coordinator

Born in San Gabriel valley, Karla comes from a culturally diverse area filled with endless opportunities to learn new things just around the corner. Karla has an eye for detail which is what inspired her to pursue an education in Marketing and Public Relations. Karla has always dreamed of expanding her horizons in event coordination and has a positive outlook on her future endeavors. On her free time, Karla can be found participating in local 5ks, exploring the city, or attending music shows.
