Real Wedding: Sydney & Nick

Sydney was the dream bride. She works in television as a director’s assistant. So basically she is a wedding planner for a tv show. I’m sure I’ll get in so much trouble for comparing the two. But in all seriousness – she creates timelines, budgets, vendor lists, etc. She runs the behind the scenes, keeping everything flowing and thinking of every possible scenario for potential problems that could occur. Which is pretty much what I do on the day of the wedding. She got it. And she was SO thorough and organized. And our emails felt like I was emailing myself! It definitely made the whole planning process so easy and smooth =)

I actually knew Sydney and Nick in college and they were dating then – and they were seriously the cutest! So it was such a joy to see how their relationship had evolved all these years later and then planning their wedding.

002For Nick & Sydney’s summer wedding, they wanted lots of bright colors to compliment the very green venue. She had bright pops of blue complimented by softer pinks and purples for a more vintage look. It all came together fabulously!

One of my favorite parts of the ceremony, was all Sydney’s idea! She wanted her small white bible with the rings to be passed through the whole audience filled with friends and family so that during the ceremony, they could all hold it and say a small prayer for the couple. So by the time it was time to exchange the rings – everyone had held on to them and lifted up a personal prayer – so sweet and sentimental for the couple!

Congrats again to Nick & Sydney! I sure to miss our phone meetings, and your killer charts and color coordinated layouts ;-)
