I’m so excited to share this wedding with you today! Lauren and David came to me in a panic needing an event designer for their wedding after a mishap with a previous vendor (uh-oh!) and I was happy to jump on board because Dee of No Worries Event Planning was doing their day-off and well… she’s amazing =) Plus, I loved the Bride’s vision for their fun vintage wedding at The Adamson House in Malibu – it was right up my alley. But all in all, we had about 2 1/2 months to pull everything together! So here are some of my favorites from that beautiful day last July – hope you enjoy!

The whole concept for the wedding was bright, fun, and vintage using the amazing historical venue to draw our inspiration from. With the ocean view and the sprawling Spanish style property, it was easy to create a beautiful by the beach feel while incorporating the elegance of a Malibu wedding. The main colors were a fun tangerine and aqua with touches of blush pink, blues and grey. The main textures we incorporated were salvaged wood – to almost represent drift wood commonly found on the shores of the coast.
It was so fun to be able to incorporate tons of my vintage pieces into the mix – how cute is this vignette we set up so guests could snag a program on their way into the ceremony site. Adorable programs designed by Joanna Waterfall =)
Vintage window panes were used as the table assignments so guests could find their seat and reclaimed wood from a 200 year old bard acted as the table runner on each of the tables.
Beautiful eclectic florals were designed by Honey & Poppies – I absolutely LOVED all the unique flowers used and totally tied the look together.

So so so pretty! Beautiful wedding, keep workin’ it girl!
