Clear Wedding Invitations by Basic Invite

Trend alert! I have recently discovered clear invitations from Basic Invite and I am in LOVE!

I’ve seen on Pinterest countless acrylic invitations that are akin to the front of photo frames – beautiful… but thick and expensive. And expensive to ship no less! I’ve always loved the look of these and even guilty of repinning a few myself to inspo boards… but I couldn’t justify actually recommending the option to most of my clients. It just isn’t a practical/affordable option for most. UNTIL NOW.

We’ve been fans of Basic Invite for some time now. If you haven’t heard of them, Basic Invite is a rad site that allows you to make semi custom wedding invitations seamlessly through their site. They have tons and tons of templates (over 900!) to fit any wedding style and you can customize pretty much everything.  Each template comes in a full set – invite, rsvp, menus, programs, even thank you cards. Their ordering process is crazy simple and super affordable. You can order a sample before pulling the trigger – which is a great way to test the quality and just a good feel for your invites before ordering them all. And now, they offer clear invites – that are STUNNING!

Romantic Vintage Wedding Inspiration

Awhile back, I got the incredible opportunity to style a photoshoot with a killer group of boss babe vendors. The theme was a modern take on Downton Abbey. This was a challenge for me, mostly because I boycotted the show immediately after (SPOILER ALERT) Matthew died. I was that pissed. All joking aside, it was so fun to jump back into the vintage world after being away for a bit.

H+E’s Downtown LA Wedding

I am so thrilled so share this wedding with you all. There is so much love. SO much family support. So many adorable details throughout this entire day. When I first met Hector & Eduardo, I knew it was a great fit. The way they looked at each other was enough for me. Their attention to detail didn’t hurt either. The big day was just like them. Filled with all the love in the world and so many details to showcase that. And a whole lot of fun! There was a live mariachi band, a popsicle stand, stunning florals, confetti EVERYWHERE, epic food (late night hot dog stand!) oh and pants may have been split on the dance floor. Yup, a good time all around. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed that hard at a wedding. Ever.

But don’t take my word for it – scroll through to see all the gorgeousness & love captured by Joe+Kathrina! Congrats again Hector & Eduardo, so happy for you two!

Vendor Spotlight : Archive Rentals

Happy Friday friends! Today we want to talk about making your wedding personal and you without endless DIY projects. Now, don’t get me wrong. I am a huge DIY-er and superfan. But I recognize that it’s not for everyone. And to be perfectly honest, it’s not always the most affordable route. Often, a DIY project will cost just as much if not more than just renting/purchasing – not to mention the time spent. Shocker, I know.  So today, I  wanted to take a moment to share some fun details and images from one of our favorite rental companies in the area: Archive Antique Rentals!! These guys know their stuff and their inventory is the bees knees. I  mean… just scroll through some of this gorgeousness.
