Allie & Ross’ Dreamy Backyard Wedding

Allie and Ross’s wedding was a true labor of love. With their big day set to be at Allie’s parent’s home, there were MANY projects besides just choosing a napkin color and creating a seating chart. Allie’s parents put SOO much work into turning their home into quite possibly the most stunning venues I’ve ever worked. So before we jump into all the pretty pictures, I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to mama and papa Habberstad for their incredible work!

For the design of this wedding, we drew inspiration from Allie’s love of ferns to colors that both Ally and Ross were drawn to in a fun creative process I had them participate in. They loved green velvet, vintage touches, and pops of orange and pink. They also loved the outdoors with garden touches. It was so fun to draw out their personality in each and every detail including their getaway car that was Ross’ dads that he had been restoring for years all the way to the surprise alpaca we got to surprise even Allie during family photos! I’ll let you here from the bride herself:

Allie spills: Most importantly, ferns and couches aside, our wedding was true to who we are because it incorporated our families and upbringings. Our venue was my childhood home and Ross grew up watching his dad work on and fix up our getaway car. Countless details were made possible by family members near and far. I love that because it is just a reflection of how important our families are to who we are.
